Shattering Bolt Build.
This is a build I have just tested, I've not used it in PvP yet, but I killed the master of enchantment easily with it.
A/E
Air magic 8
dagger masterey 16
deadly arts 4
Shadow arts 7
Critical strikes 10
Shadow refuge
Conjure lighting
Expose defences
Black spider strike
Black lotus strike
Shattering assult [e]
Shadow of Haste
Dash.
With shrouded armor and shocking daggers of enchanting.
Before entering a fight, cast conjure lighting, then pick your target, best go with people who enchant themselves. Use shadow of haste of speed and an escape route. Cast expose defence, then do Black spider - Shattering assult. Then, if they enchant themselves to heal etc, do black lotus - shattering for more damage and energy regen. The escape by using dash.
Feel free to comment, and even add your own ideas.

Nice on those with heavy enchants but you lack a lot of dmg against anything that isnt enchanted. Also with a lot of monks going healing now your targets become limited rather than being able to hit a target and expect the monk to supply the enchants for you.

Mending wammo have no hope. Elementalish enchant themselfs, Rangers and Mesmers are the only thing I've seen that rared enchant themselves.

....Warriors don't enchant themselves. The ones that use Mending are not worth the time.
Rangers don't use enchantments, Mesmers don't, Necromancers only do so occasionally, and many Monks use Blessed Light and the like.

Healing hand warriors. And warriors who use healing breeze.
Well, how about I replace 1 skill with twisting fangs, so I can do more damage to other people, or nine tails strike.

hmmm....
[skill=big]Shattering Assault[/skill]
This is the Ele killer. If they even have their average utility enchantments up,they have major problems.
If a warrior is using an enchantment,which is rare in major PvP, then he is asking to get owned. In RA, this would take a poor Wammo out. Even an Aura Warrior would take an ugly fall.
However,the major PvP builds that aren't eles will not have an enchantment to strip. So what's the backup plan?
Also,take into account that if Dervish become a major facet of PvP, then this skill my come in handy.

Actually, don't ele's us attunment spells on them.
And remeber, the foes doesn't have to the the enchantment on themselves, monk put enchants on other people aswell, so you can target them, and it annoys the monks. Things like air of enhantment, zealots fire, life bond, etc.
Plus I'll take twisting fangs for extra conditions Vs anyone.

Caster Master Class 101
[skill=big]Aura of Restoration[/skill]
This is Ele basics 101. This is more than likely the only self heal that most elementalists will carry.
[skill=big]Elemental Attunement[/skill]
As you can see, attunements are also enchantments. This meaning that an elementalist using attunements would be vulnerable to your build.
[skill=big]Ether Prodigy[/skill]
As well as this,the backbone of ele PvP energy management. This being the case,re-read my fist post and let it sync in.
[skill=big]Mantra of Recall[/skill]
Am I mistaken in believing this is the power supply of Boon Prot monks? If you see a Mo/Mes and they are using this,then they are just as vulnerable as the eles. For how long,I don't know,since I'm no mesmer expert.
This is just part of the Caster master class I feel a thread coming on

With the new updated boon prot monks are being used a lot less. Pure healing monks are now the main threat. So this does really limit who you can hit, on those with enchants is it powerful? Hell yes. Those without? Nope. Good for hunting specific targets but depending on the situation it may not be worth it. I prefer to more flexible builds in PvP.

pure healing monks? i smile when i face them, because they are by far the easiest crap to kill. the new main threat are Blight/Zealous Benediction escapers that hardly use enchantments.
suppose theres always many enchants around tho - build looks nice

A threat in the sense this build would do little good against them.

Should I replace a skill with twisting fangs for extra conditions, or exausting assult for more anti caster?

Not worth it. Attributes spread too much. Will not be effective. Over and out.

Well. I've tried this out in AB and it worked.
Air magic 8
Deadly 4
dagger 16
crtical 10
Shadow (the rest)
Shadow refuge
Conjure lighting
Expose defences
Black spider strike
Black lotus strike
Shattering assult [e]
Twisting fangs
Deaths retreat
It worked pretty well, it does good damage in general, but and kill enchanters rather well, I do Black spider - fangs - black lotus - shattering.
It is rather good.
